How StravaCopilot handles data.

Last updated: May 7, 2026

Overview

StravaCopilot is an early beta service that helps cyclists understand Strava rides by sending simple post-ride insights through WhatsApp. This policy explains the basic data we collect and how we use it.

Data we collect

We collect only the data needed to provide ride insights and operate the service. This may include Strava profile and activity data authorized by the user, such as distance, duration, elevation, speed, and recent training context.

Data may also include WhatsApp contact information needed to send service messages after the user opts in.

How we use data

We use data to generate post-ride feedback, send WhatsApp messages that the user has opted in to receive, respond to support requests, and operate and improve the service.

Data sharing

We do not sell personal data. We may use service providers only as needed to operate StravaCopilot, such as sending messages or hosting the service.

WhatsApp messages

Users must opt in before receiving WhatsApp messages from StravaCopilot. Users can stop WhatsApp messages at any time by replying STOP.

Deletion requests

Users can request deletion of their data by contacting support@stravacopilot.app.

Beta service
